Caroline studied at Farnham art college before marrying a Civil Engineer and taking her creative flair on the road. They've lived in many far flung corners of the world, including a construction camp deep in the Kashmiri Himalayas and a little village in the Somali desert.

She spent many years as a portrait painter and ran a bespoke cake design business, hand painting special occasion cakes from Asterix to Zebras (even awkward requests like "I want a dark and stormy night on my cake!")

She is always painting everything, which can sometimes make things tricky in the office when she shouts, "Oy...don't move, I'M PAINTING THAT HAND"

Robyn studied photography in Aberdeen, then left to explore Australia with camera in hand. During an extended few years in the vibrant city of Sydney, she found that her real passion was illustration and graphic design.

She is now back in her native Scotland pursuing her creative talents through Afiki Designs.

Robyn is the designer of the quirky Bill Snail range. You have to be careful not to do anything daft enough to spark her sense of humour - or it'll get immortalised in print.
